Adventure starts with the confidence to try something new.

The Tidewater Council High Adventure Committee is a group of Scouters passionate about helping troops, crews, and their leaders discover and experience the opportunities High Adventure has to offer.

Whether it's a first backpacking trip, a weekend on the water, a climbing adventure, or an expedition to one of Scouting's National High Adventure Bases, we're here to help units take that next step.

By sharing our experiences, connecting units with resources, and offering introductory training and guidance, we help build the confidence for Scouts and leaders to plan and lead their own adventures.

We also support Tidewater Council by helping plan, coordinate, and promote council contingents to National High Adventure Bases and other exciting adventures, creating opportunities for Scouts and leaders from across the council to participate together.

Our goal isn't to lead every adventure. It's to help make more adventures possible.
